Dear Susan,
I will continue to rock the boat on behalf of West Hawaii. There should be more representation on behalf of us in Kona... and there should be a fairer distribution of resources.
From my point of view, the fastest way to that end would be to elect a Mayor from West Hawaii.
In the meantime, as the lone voice in the legislature solely on behalf of West Hawaii, I will continue to form alliances statewide and islandwide to help us with our needs at home.
I do understand your frustration completely. I feel it myself and work through it daily.
