Judy Replys again

"Far less than what we are currently getting in return for our tax dollars" as you state does not necessarily constitute an affordable or viable means to an end when it comes to forming a completely separate entity of county government. This has absolutely no bearing on actual expenses in such an undertaking as you are proposing.I am not trying to be a nay sayer, but merely pointing out that true number crunching has not been done to adequately address what is involved with this undertaking, and the projected time such an undertaking would require.Until this is accomplished, it is, in my estimation, unrealistic. Perhaps this may account for the lack of enthusiasm at recent meetings - constituents don't think this is a realistic or obtainable goal, and judging from the blog, many who are concerned about the situation in West Hawaii are not supportive of a separate county. What is the median ground to bring all of these folks on board for a solution to benefit the greater whole of this west side community?
